What a final day of the season this was for Rangers fans! The Bluenoses knew they had to beat Hibernian and hope Celtic slipped up at Motherwell to lift the title. The Ibrox outfit picked up the points they needed then had to wait anxiously for the Celtic result. Two late goals by Scott McDonald turned that match on its head forcing the helicopter carrying the SPL trophy to change direction from Fir Park to Easter Road, hence the day became known as Helicopter Sunday!
