Collection: Liverpool

Born in 1913, Bill Shankly joined Liverpool as manager from Huddersfield on December 1st, 1959 with the club languishing in the Second Division of English football. During his fifteen years in charge, Liverpool won three Division One League titles (1963-64 1965-66 & 1972-73), the FA Cup for the first time in the club's history in 1965 and again in 1974, as well as the UEFA Cup in 1973. But even these achievements on the pitch were nothing to the foundations he created for the success of the club after his retirement in July 1974, with the Reds becoming League Champions a further 10 times and European Champions 6 times as well as winning 6 more FA Cups and 9 League Cups. Without doubt, Bill Shankly was the best signing Liverpool ever made.

You'll find below all the triumphs from the Shankly, Paisley, Fagan, Dalglish, Houllier and now Klopp eras but if you have a favourite match we haven't featured contact us and we'll recreate it for you.
