Collection: Birmingham City

Birmingham City were founded in 1875 and were known as Small Heath until changing the name to Birmingham in 1905 and adding City in 1943. The club has won the League Cup twice and in 1960 had the distinction of being the first English team to reach a European Final, losing 4-1 on aggregate to Barcelona in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup competition (now the Europa League). Birmingham also made the Final the following year, losing 4-2 on aggregate to Roma.
