Liverpool 1984 European Cup Winners Bruce Grobbelaar Teletext Mug

Bruce Grobbelaar joined Liverpool from Vancouver Whitecaps in March 1981 for a fee of £250,000. The departure of Ray Clemence at the end of that season gave Grobbelaar the opportunity to establish himself and over the next few years he won six league titles, three FA Cups, three Football League Cups and a European Cup. It was in this 1984 Final shootout that Grobbelaar famously feigned nerves by wobbling his legs as Graziani stepped up to take a penalty, which he missed, enabling the Reds to lift the trophy again.
